Notizia pubblicata in rete il 12/11/2008 06:00, tempo medio di lettura previsto 4 minuti e 2 secondi

MONACO, November 12 /PRNewswire/ --
- New Site Will Host Live Event Coverage, Including Blogs, YouTube Videos, Twitter tweets and Flickr Photos
socialmedian and the Monaco Media Forum, the annual global media executive forum hosted by His Serene Highness Prince Albert II of Monaco on the future of media, today announced the launch of mmf.socialmedian.com, a web site that will enable users from all over the world to follow activity, as well as interactively discuss live reports emerging from the highly anticipated conference.
From one aggregated page, the new site will stream live news, blog posts, Twitter tweets, Flickr photos and MMF 2008 YouTube Channel videos. In addition, users will be able to incorporate updates from the Monaco Media Forum into their own web sites by downloading and embedding the accompanying MMF 2008 widget. Jason Goldberg, founder and CEO of socialmedian, will demonstrate the site functionalities to kick-off the forum.
"The discussions take place in the midst of unprecedented technological and financial disruption," says John Rossant, Executive Chairman of PublicisLive, co-producer of the event along with Monaco-based non-profit Monaco Mediax. "socialmedian's platform and its instantaneous content delivery further extends the reach of what is certain to be a very important conversation."
"Partnering with the Monaco Media Forum enables conference attendees and non attendees alike to be at the forefront of developments and discussions in the worldwide media ecosystem," said Goldberg. "Whether on the ground in Monaco, at a cyber-cafe in Japan or online from home, users will be able to have extended discussions on what they care about most and contribute to this mainstream movement."
The Third Monaco Media Forum will take place from November 12-14, 2008 at the Monte-Carlo Bay Hotel & Resort in the Principality of Monaco. Some 300 of the world's key players in both new and "old" media - CEOs of global media groups, financiers, digital experts, entrepreneurs, senior journalists, academics and bloggers - will convene to discuss and debate the digital revolution and its impact on the new media landscape. The discussions take place in the midst of unprecedented technological and financial disruption. For more information, go to www.monacomediaforum.org
