Deezer Signs European Agreement With Universal Music

PARIS, May 15 /PRNewswire/ -- Deezer announces the signing of an agreement with the Universal Music giant covering 35 countries. With this move, the first French music on demand website launches its international deployment in order to position itself as a key player in the changing music industry.
The agreement with Universal Music aims at giving access to a catalogue of nearly one million additional titles. Thus, with a single click, all Deezer users will be able to listen to all their favorite artists: Amy Winehouse, Portishead, Kanye West, Ayo, Renan Luce, Vanessa Paradis, Alain Bashung, Rachid Taha, U2...With 1 million unique visitors per day worldwide, Deezer, which has been translated into more than 20 languages, is now the undisputed leader.
