COPENHAGEN and STOCKHOLM, May 13 /PRNewswire/ -- Infor today announced that Patrik Svanström has been named Regional Manager in the Nordic region. Svanström is charged with managing Infor's sales strategy and operations in Denmark, Finland, Iceland, Norway, and Sweden, executing Infor's strategic growth plan for the EMEA region.
Svanström has an extensive background, spanning 20 years of sales in the software industry. He previously served as CEO of BayMind AB, a consulting company he created which evaluated go-to-market models, sales strategies and execution levels. Prior to founding BayMind, Svanström led technology sales for EMC and Selectica Nordics, as well as ERP sales for Oracle Corp. in the Nordic region.
"Patrik Svanström brings with him years of experience, expansive industry knowledge and a highly respected reputation," said Keith Deane, president, EMEA for Infor. "We have experienced strong growth in the Nordic region and Patrik's energetic leadership skills will further enhance our market position as a leading software provider in EMEA."
In his duties as the Regional Manager for Nordic Countries, Svanström will recruit new account managers and work with the existing team to strengthen Infor's presence in the Nordic region. His responsibilities include strategic market positioning and the expansion of sales and customer activities, which will increase the consistent growth Infor has experienced in the countries throughout this region.
"Infor has established itself as a leader in providing business-specific solutions that help companies increase operational efficiency and market competitiveness," said Svanström. "I am thrilled to join Infor and lead a knowledgeable and respected team of sales professionals across the Nordic region in delivering solutions that enable customers to improve their overall business operations and increase market momentum."
